What we shipped in June

Per agent tone controls, a much faster first crawl, conflict detection in your sources, and a reporting export people had been asking for since March.

Shorter month, shorter list. Most of June went into the retrieval work that made July's file understanding possible, which is the sort of thing that produces a thin changelog and a much better product.

Tone controls, per agent

Voice used to be a single workspace setting, which was fine until teams started running a billing agent and a community agent from the same account. Those should not sound the same, and now they do not.

Each agent gets its own tone profile: formality, warmth, sentence length, and whether it opens with an apology. You can also paste in three example replies and have the agent match them, which works considerably better than any slider.

First crawl is roughly four times faster

The initial sync on a large documentation site used to take upwards of twenty minutes, which is a long time to sit on a setup screen wondering if it broke. Parallel fetching and a smarter sitemap parser brought a 400 page site down to just under five minutes.

We also stream results as they arrive, so you can start testing against the first fifty pages while the rest finish.

Conflict detection in sources

If two pages in your knowledge base disagree, agents used to quietly pick one. Now the conflict surfaces in Training with both passages side by side, so you can fix the source rather than debug the answer.

The first week this shipped, the median workspace found eleven conflicts. Nobody was surprised by more than half of them.

Smaller things

  • Reporting exports to CSV, including per agent breakdowns
  • Threads can be reassigned without losing the draft in progress
  • The chat widget respects a reduced motion preference
  • Fixed a bug where very long customer messages were truncated before retrieval, which was quietly degrading answers on exactly the questions that needed the most context

July is about files and onboarding. If your customers routinely send you PDFs and screenshots, that release will matter to you.
